Pet Stats Guide


Hi there! This is designed to give you a little more information on the individual stats of each of the pets you can find in Nowhere Else and Beyond.

Calculations

Below is a list of different formulas used for different pet-related things.

Picture An image of the pet
Food The type of food your pet eats
Protection The amount of resistance your pet has to a monster attack
Attack The amount of damage your pet will inflict on a monster
Life The amount of HP that your pet has
AP (Action Points) These are the number of times your pet can move. It needs 3 AP to attack a monster
Water This indicates whether the pet can be used in water battles

Stat Calculations

Life

The pet's health at level 1

Base Life/10

The pet gain per level

Base Life/20

Example:
A moogle has 600 base Life in the above stat.
-> 600/10 = 60
-> 600/20 = 30

So, a moogle at lvl 1 will have 60 HP, at lvl 2 90HP, lvl 3 120HP and so on...

Attack

Damage dealt by pet to monster (rounded up)

Pet level * (Pet attack ^ 0.1) * (Effective charisma ^ 0.25) * 2

Effective Charisma of player

Base Charisma + (Item Charisma/2)

Examples:

A level X gargoyle (base ATTACK 200) of a player with an Effective Charisma of 81 would have max damage of X * 1.6986 * 3 * 2 as shown in this table

A level X gargoyle (base ATTACK 200) of a player with an Effective Charisma of 16 would have max damage of X * 1.6986 * 2 * 2 as shown in this table

Protection

No change when pet advances in level.

Experience Calculations

Experience for Next level

Total experience required to advance to next level

(level * 200) + Round(level^3 * 445/3)

Experience for current level

Total EXP for current level - Total EXP for previous level

Example:
A pet at level 10 needs total EXP of (10 * 200) + Round(10^3 * 445/3) or 150333 EXP to get to level 11.
The denominator in Exp->Up under Care for pets is the value of 150333 less the total EXP for level 9 (109935) or 40398 EXP.

Experienced Gained by Pet

Experience gained by pet (rounded down)

Damage by pet * Monster level * Pet Experience Multiplier * Charisma Multiplier

Effective Charisma of player

Base Charisma + (Item Charisma/2)

Charisma Multiplier

(Effective Charisma of player - Pet level) / Effective Charisma of player

Pet Experience Multiplier

max(0.5, (max(0,User Level - Pet level) ^ 0.2))

Example:
If a lvl 10 pet of a lvl 10 player with effective CHA of 20 hits a total of 30 damage on a lvl 40 monster, the pet would gain 30 * 40 * max(0.5, (10 - 10) ^ 0.2) * (20 - 10) / 20 EXP or 300 EXP.

Example:
If a lvl 10 pet of a lvl 42 player with effective CHA of 20 hits a total of 30 damage on a lvl 40 monster, the pet would gain 30 * 40 * max(0.5, (42 - 10) ^ 0.2) * (20 - 10) / 20 EXP or 1200 EXP.

Hatching Calculations

Percent chance of hatching

100 * effective Charisma/(sum of stats + AP * 30 + $nbpets * $nbpets * 25 + $w)

Translation: Hatching Percent = 100 * effective charisma of player / (sum of pet stats protection + attack + life) + (action points * 30) + (Number of pets * Number of pets * 25) + 100 (Only add last 100 if pet can go in water)
